RN Manager (1st shift.)

Responsible for managing LPN supervisors and assist in the residents individualized service plans and the day-to-day nursing and resident aide/HHA activities during the shift, in accordance with New York State regulations and Longview’s Resident Services Policy and Procedure Manual. Maybe responsible for assuming daily operation of facility as assigned and in accordance with Ithacare’s specific risk management procedures and the Personnel Policy and Procedure Manual.

Resident Aides (CNA) or (HHA) 2nd & 3rd shifts are available. ** ($200.00 sign on bonus for 3rd shift.)**

Under the supervision of the Nursing Team Leader, the position requires the assisting of residents in activities of daily living. Must successfully complete medication assistance training and post-test to become certified to assist residents with medications. Must complete prescribed Red Cross First Aid/AED training and blood-borne pathogen training within three months of hire. Must be professional, personable and have excellent hygiene. The Resident Aide does not have supervisory responsibilities and adheres to Ithacare’s risk management practices.

LPN available for 3rd shift only

Responsibilities include assisting in training and monitoring of medication assistance. Monitor and assist residents with medications. Alert physicians, families and resident care staff with timely notifications regarding changes in condition. Monitor and follow-up with all resident care issues while maintaining clinical quality assurance in accordance with New York State regulations and adherence to Ithacare’s risk management practices.
